- I used to think Heineken was a Japanese company. Like the beer in the green bottles. It's Dutch.
- I would be scared to have skin-to-skin contact with anyone because I believed they would be able to read my mind and learn my secrets.
- I would sing with passion songs from Aladdin and The Little Mermaid as I would climb the ladder to go on the slide in kindergarten.
- I didn't understand addition and subtraction in the first grade, so I had to stay inside during recess for extra tutoring.
- I loved the smell of fertilizer that my mom would buy for our garden that was bigger than our house. It didn't smell like cow feces, but more like musky earth.
- I stole pens and pencils from Market World(Han Nam Chain) during middle school.
- I never believed in Santa Claus, but I desperately wanted this mega Polly Pocket mansion when I was 7, so I wrote a letter to Santa and slipped it under the front door. My sister, Sue Jean, revealed to me a couple years ago that she read my note to Santa and thought it was the cutest thing ever.
- My name was Emma during middle school and I spoke with a bad English accent.
- My earliest memory might be getting lost at the beach, sometime before I was 5. I remember passing by the same Mexican kid and fountain a couple of times when a lifeguard made me wait at his station. Then I see my whole church desperately looking for me.
- I ate an ant, and it was spicy.
What did you do, say, or think when you were little?
